Rare Dug Gilted Regulation 1839 Pattern Company Officer Shoulder Belt Plate

Super rare dug Regulation 1839 pattern, Company officer, shoulder belt plate. It has great gold for a dug buckle. The soldered on US and wreath are missing, but a fairly clear US is visible where the US was attached. It looks awesome. The gold on this buckle really pops. It has a pleasing brown and green patina. The reverse has the three original integral cast belt hooks. This plate measures 65 mm's x 81 mm's in size. It dates c.1840-1851 and will not disappoint. It was dug in Port Hudson, Louisiana. $650
