Scarce Dug Amber Open Pontil Umbrella Ink Well

c.1845-55 open pontil dug amber colored 8-sided umbrella inkwell. It has an interior rolled lip and nice dark amber color. It has been not been cleaned and retains stain, etching, and overall ground wear. There are no chips or cracks. Amber colored inkwells are few and far between. It stands 2 1/2" tall. A nice colored ink for your collection. $250
