Mid 19th century, Civil War, hand made patriotic, id shield, or Prisoner of War hand carved bone heart shaped badge. It has wonderfully engraved designs on the front infilled with period colored wax. The reverse has the original brass attachment pin. It has a wonderful patina and is in excellent condition. $150
