Early Federal c.1820 Dug 1-Piece Brass Navy Overcoat Button With Gold

Early 1-piece brass Navy overcoat button. It was dug but still has gold on the front in various places. The eagle is the early type with the extra long neck and bulky body. It has a nice dark blackish patina and measures 23.5 mm's in diameter. The shank is missing and it looks to have a Warranteed Gilt backmark. $50
