Non dug Confederate North Carolina staff state seal coat button. The front has highpoint use wear with a nice patina and look. This button was actually worn. The reverse has a c.1860 SCOVILL MF'G CO. WATERBURY, between two rings of dots, backmark. The shank is straight. This is a fairly rare button that usually sells in the 1750+ range. $1150
