Confederate South Carolina Cartridge Box Sling Plate

Non dug Confederate Civil War South Carolina State Seal shoulder Sling plate. The front has original gilt around the state seal and in the recesses. The detail is strong and there are no dents or dings. The reverse has a full lead solder fill back and both iron attachment loops. The patina is excellent. The iron loops have little cuts out of the side near the base. Either someone was making sure they were iron or someone scraped off rust. It is a nice looking plate you will want to keep. $4495
