Inscribed 1862 dated fancy presentation pewter pitcher. It has excellent floral and scroll engraving on the front and back. The front is inscribed PRESENTED TO S. A. Norman by R. Willmer AUGUST 30 TH. -1862- There are Civil War soldiers listed with these names in the Confederate and Union armies. Both names do not show up in the same regiment though. It could be a civilian period piece or presented by a soldier or to a soldier. No way for me to tell. It is in good used condition. $195
