The note reads "Presented to me by captured and wounded soldiers in the 6th Corps Hospital at City Point in April 1865. During the progress of the last campaign. Del. of the U.S.C.C. H. B. Ensworth" This is a Confederate South Carolina State Seal, SC244 A1. in Tice, coat button. It is the button to the right of the note. The front has the state seal of South Carolina. The shank is straight. It has some highpoint use wear. $300
