Pair of fancy cast brass or bronze Civil War cavalry officer's spurs. They have brownish patinas and are in solid non dug condition. The rowel on one is fixed in place. The other has a period one cent coin replacement rowel which spins fine. These spurs are often referred to as Christmas spurs as they are occasionally marked on the inside arm PATENTED DEC. 24 1861. One of this pair is so marked. The maker mark is partially obscured from age and wear. This is a tough to find pair of Civil War Cavalry officer spurs. $525
